I am not good enough to do my crossword puzzles or my Sudoku in ink, but these puzzles in magazines do not take pencil very well. I generally quit the puzzle, frustrated by my inability to see what I have already written. Problem solved with these erasable ink pens. The disadvantage is that it erases maybe a little too well, and you might want to dedicate these pens to puzzles and not for signatures.
